Out of Mag from 09, drinking great. Fruit forward Jadot style

I purchased a bunch of cru Beaujolais in 09 and 10 not knowing how it would cellar. Let me tell you - this bottle is kicking ass and taking names. Wonderful, elegant, great structure and minerality.

Not a regular consumer of aged Beaujolais. This bottle did nothing to convince me to do more of it.

Skulle plocka denna som pinot alla dagar i veckan om det var bildtest! Moget med toner av läder och cederträ, bra med tanniner och förvånansvärt hög syra kvar efter 7 år!

Tart red fruit, plenty of acidity with some tannins. Decent value, think prior bottles were better.

Jorgen, who rated this wine earlier in the feed, is really correct. Tart and cherry-like at the start, minimal tannins and quick finish. We paired it with some tenderloin and fall vegetables and the review from diners was good. Good deal if you find at $25. Bottom line: lite and thin but ok.

Blind taste and you may think your drinking village level Burgundy. I love this producer and my favorite Cru Beaujolais. Nice to age and bring to a party brown bagged.

Pinot flavours. Cherry and perhaps a hint of strawberry. Clean and smooth taste. Enjoyable on its own or with a pepper based meat
