Good for what it is, I guess, but at £18 (Wine Soc) was expecting more. Structure and merlot plum character but not profound

Merlot dominated Claret isn't my usual buy, but this (with 1/3 Cab Franc) has a clear structure to go alongside the crowd pleasing full mouth of fruit of the '10s. Lovely stuff, especially at sub-£10.
