Vieilles Vignes Costières-de-Nîmes Red Rhone Blend

Outstanding, balanced.

I’ve been buying this wine for years, but somehow never rated it. Very nice, does vary by vintage.

Very smooth!

Color: clear, Cherry red core and Ruby rim.
Nose: aromatic licorice, eucalyptus and black pepper with notes of black cherry and hints of spices.
Palate: dry, medium-bodied, fresh acidity, moderate fine-grained tannins, good balance, and rich texture.
Flavorful herbs, black pepper and cherry.
Finish is long.

Smooth drinker for 15% alcohol! Undertones of cherry and mocha make for a real treat.

Really great wine. Excellent qpr one of the better French wines I've had.

Nice and crisp

One of the better wines from this region-2013. A little boozy, but smooth.
