tastes like ripe cranberries and red cherries, charcuterie, leather, earth, a little kalamata, some thyme.... on the mouth there is huge garrigue and kalamata, chewy earth and wood blended. lots of blackcurrant and ripe plum. big and rustic. another rhone that calls for meat.
