Not a Malbec fan but this was nice, a bit young but nice.

Low on tannins, sweet plumb notes and minute hints of pepper. I had the 2016 vintage which in my opinion is a bit young. If you like young reds of this type, I would recommend this nice little Cahors. I did purchase 2 and will hold the second one for 2 years where I believe will be a perfect to pop the cork and enjoy!

Smoke and blackberries, with some raspberries and dry earth. The acidity is sharp at first, but mellows some with a little air, and the fruit lightens. Medium tannins. Stands up well to strongly spiced food.

Is "lush" a descriptor? Definitely would go great with a steak.

Medium purple in color with a nose of blackberries, pepper, and a touch of chocolate and vanilla. Medium to full bodied with fine grained tannins. Not too dry, but not sweet either. Medium finish. Very good for $7 at a warehouse club.
