Prior notes apply, this is a great white wine and an outstanding value at less than 10 euro. Great chenin. We paired it with trout and fresh pasta in leek sauce and it went perfectly well.

The nose is made of a strong green apple scent at first,
but there is more to it. Citrus, white flower, hay, wow this is great. The palate shows a monster of an acid backbone which goes for ages, all along there are apple and citrusy notes, a strong grip on the sides but a nice gentle matter too. The mouthfeel is rather tender and manages to balance that sheer acid drive. Very long finish with the same apple and citrusy notes that last for at least a minute. I love chenin sec but I understand it's demanding and not everyone's cup of tea.
