Selection Vieilles Vignes Supérieur Red Bordeaux Blend

A Thierry Lurton selection. 65% merlot, 35% cabernet. Very approachable 2012

Kelly , Craig, Mom and Dad really enjoyed it.

Good weeknight Bordeaux. I don't get any of the rustic character others mention. Solid.

Not quite what I was expecting. Need to air a while/

Decant for an hour underwhelmed. Unbalanced and a bit herbal

Not quite what I hoped for. Improved a few hours after opening

Pretty good. Mild. Not too fruity or juicy. Slight bitterness.

Smells likes berries, but doesn't taste like it....dry.

Delicious! Smooth and easy drinking

At first I got a blueberry nose with a hint of maple, medium plus acidity with nice ripe tannins. The pallet was a little flat for me, I couldn't really taste the fruit profile......that being said...after decanting it for about an hour or 2 it really opened up! Awesome dark raspberry nose with an awesome dark red fruit pallet. A lot more balanced! Great bordeaux for the price for sure!
