Smells of flowers and a little spicy. Tastes like blackberries and sage and rosemary.

More of a merlot blend. Much softer than some other Bordeaux's

Pours ever so slightly brownish-tinged deep ruby garnet. Blackberry and plum preserves, dusty leather, wet alluvial earth, bit of clove and nutmeg spice, green bell pepper, bit of barnyard-animal brett funk. Medium acid, tannins decently round, gently gripping. Would've liked juuust a bit more body/texture but honestly quite enjoyable, decent QPR for sure. First time I've had a red Bordeaux that is from a more specific appellation than just the general Bordeaux AOC. Will definitely have to explore right bank blends some more.

A great combination of what tastes to be strong consistent grapes. They certainly didn't throw a bunch of just any together. Quality, although rich in body - drinkable unpaired with food, at least for me. It's 2011, not a 2013 or 14.
