Southern Rhône blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Counoise. Dark ruby color with a thin garnet rim. Aromas of black and red fruit, granite dust, garrigue and lavender. Flavors of black and red cherries/plums/currants with hints of woody herbs and truffles. The long finish has a gamey quality. No sign of oak aging but this wine is still quite bold. Solid structure and rounded tannins. Extremely savory.
