Garnet color. Red fruit. Raspberry. Eucalyptus, tobacco. Cloves. Mouth has bright acidity, good structure, good spice and fruit. Good starter wine for a chateau. Velvety. Lingering finish. Bitterness on the finish. Warming alcohol.

There is a lovely smokiness on the nose of this wine that almost has a BBQ quality to it. On the palatte I got some beautiful hints of chocolate, spice and black raspberry. I wouldn't say it is elegant but very smooth with nice supple tannins.
