2003 Château Chauvin St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

Big fruity well rounded merlot, but lots of dry tannins and some acid to balance it out. After an hour it integrates nicely and the tannins burn off. 2004 was a good year and it shows. Great value wine.
