The nose displays ripe plum, cedar, black tea, espresso, forest floor, dried herbs, and hint of crushed rocks. Warm smooth entry, leading to a rich but well balanced palate. The elegant tannins is still a bit chewy. Very classy.
The 04 was great, but this is better, which should not be a surprise given the great vintage of 2005 in Bordeaux. And at less than $30, the price is just silly!
