Nose: Mountain berry pies. Forests; floors and air. Hint of cedar boxes. Flavors are pretty classic. Restrained red and black fruits. Streak of licorice and flavored chocolate. Tannic smack. Something to chewy on with the fun linger of wood and cherry-berry candy (but not sweet). Also has the classic Medóc graphite or pencil ‘lead’ in there. So dry, so balanced.. This is pretty nice French Médoc. Aged beautifully. Drinks like $35 and it was $6.99 at Grocery Outlet.
