Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Pleasant to drink. Probably bought at Tokyu honten but do not remember the price.

A not fancy Bordeaux in an off vintage. Tbh this reminded me of being at a Mon Ami Gabi which for me is nostalgia lane so yeah, pretty happy.

Made a wonderful backstrap that went with this wine. Good taste of leather, more of a masculine wine. 

Rich ruby red. Deep taste

Plum, mineral, vanilla

Notes De Cassis, De café, belle acidité, tannins agréables pas agressif comme certain Saint-Estephe.

Great value.

Good with body. Bought at Mitsukoshi for ¥3,500.

Delicious. Earth. Pencil lead. Currant. Wonderful selection.

Better the 2nd day. Medium bodied, a bit more acidic and tart than I would like. Just ok. Tart dark berry and tar and earth. Interesting to drink, there is depth here, a lot going on, but the acidity/tannins bother me.
