Tasted 13/06/2016
Acceptable oak-aged Merlot/CS blend by empire of Maison Bouey. Nicely done, intense, drinkable… once it’s at least a second bottle on a party))
Dark ruby colored, purplish red rim.
Nose reveals aromas of tobacco leaf, black currant, ripe plum, black cherry, wet underbrush.
Slightly spicy palate of medium body, well-infused acidity, remarkable tannins. Black currant, saskatoon, wild cherry, black gooseberry flavors playing main roles.
Finish is medium-minus, of black berries mostly.
Pair: pork chops grill.
