Lots of earthy baking spices and a core of ripe dark fruit. Tannins were a touch grainy but really nice to chew on without being too drying.

Dark berry fruit comes to the front; after 8 years in the bottle there isn’t any clear tannin left. Enough acidity to stay interesting. Yum.

We cellared this bottle for five years. Worth the wait. Very nice, bold but sophisticated taste with subtle and smooth finish.
