Côtes de Bourg Red Bordeaux Blend

Nice fruity Bordeaux with a soft finish. A little thin, but not bad if you want a less harsh Bordeaux.

Floral on the nose and plum on the pallet. To me not very well balanced. Too much fruit

Deep ruby color.
Aromas of red fruit, spice, earth, leather.
Dry. Flavors of plum, cherry, tomato leaf, tobacco, leather, cinnamon, black pepper. Medium-rich, firm tannins.

Deep flavor tones, different than our normal wines but quite enjoyable.

Smoother than I expected, and not bad to drink on its own. Dark undertones. Not my usual taste. Had at Daddy & Judy's -- they ordered it online for $8.99.

Excellant wine, great accompaniment for steak and salmon!
