Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Some graphite, mushrooms, Forrest soil, black currant, a bit of oak and some meat juice. The palace is well balanced with a strong acid backbone, some matter and grip, bright black currant, well integrated tannins, and a very nice and easy finish with a bright fruit and some fresh touch. This is rather a very good cru bourgeois.

I really wish I had more patience. This was delicious, but clearly still needed a bit of mellowing. Would have probably helped to decant it a bit longer. Great black fruit, cedar, graphite, and tobacco notes. Should improve considerably with a few more years.

Ben, c'est bon. Du végétal comme d'habitude mais du fruit aussi dans une bonne harmonie. De la matière mais pas lourd. Non bien mais voilà, vraiment Bordeaux ne me fait pas triper...

Not as bold as typical cabs

Little jammy and young. Tennis are strong, but not overpowering. Acidity is well balanced. A little bold. High cab content for a B. Good now, much better in 2019
