Pessac-Léognan Red Bordeaux Blend

A pleasant wine for a Tuesday night. Some bitter tannins but with the slightest chill it smoothed out.

Bacon, slate.

Thick and deep, deserves a little opening after 8 years in a bottle.

Blueberry, green pepper, slate. Classic.

I wasn't crazy about this wine. On the nose, strawberry, cherry, wild berry. On the tongue, pepper, pomegranate, sour prunes.

Smooth and well rounded. Relatively dry with some minerality. Beautiful but short finish. Surprising depth and structure at this price point. Bought June 2016 for $18.99

Garagiste selection. $19.81. Deep rich tones. Very smooth tannins.

Exceeded expectations. Really terrific.
