Definitely a fair dose of brett on the nose to go along with some medicinal character and stone fruit. Palate is more of the same plummy minty barnyard with ripping acidity and medium tannin.

Hey, sometimes you buy a wine just because you like the bottle. And sometimes it's works out for you. Some oak and pepper on the nose. Mainly dark fruit and chocolate on the palate, which works out just beautifully. Throw some plum in there just for good measure. Not quite full-bodied and more tannic that you would first think. Definitely more modern than New World. . But that's ok, this wine works even though it could stand to stay on the shelf for a few more years. - 2006
