Had a tasting the day after Thanksgiving with the winemaker, a tiny operation (what’s smaller than a boutique winery - a nano?) Super quality product though. Pale yellow, very good clarity. Floral and Meyer lemon aromas. Super crisp, mineral finish with a hint of skin astringency, some seed bitterness, slightly viscous mouthfeel, aftertaste blended across all the aromas and flavors. If you can find anything from this guy, go for it. One of the better Pinot Gris I’ve had - fruity, complex flavors, crisp and soulful.

Remarkably good Pinot blanc from the Willamette. Beautifully textured - definitely sees some skin contact, but not quite orange. So saline and great minerality. Very nice with our classic post-Thanksgiving turkey pho.
