Cellier des Dauphins
Les Dauphins Vinsobres Cru de Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend
Being a Côtes du Rhône Cru, this is a particularly good and enjoyable Côtes du Rhône. Would happily drink this again.

Oct 29th, 2015Keep your eyes open Nick. After months of Rioja I found this last bottle of French Rhone in Waitrose knocked down to £8.99. Not bad for a Cru. A deep inky red which was slightly dry but clean and very easy to drink with a lot of fruit to the front. What a change from those smoky Spanish. Pity this was the last bottle.

Feb 13th, 2015Noses closed aromas of vegetal strawberries with stable and green stem. Taut in the mouth; greenness, short and wrapped Grenache flavours with a reductive drying finish. Disappointing and punching well below its price point.

Nov 8th, 2014Medium red. Round. A little dry. Good legs. It may be a Cru but I can't say it was outstanding. No real nose to speak of.
