Nice barbera. At first I thought it might be a bit corked but with a bit of air it comes together. Pretty deep and full, with some viscosity from the alcohol. Quite earthy on the finish with good acid. For some reason didn’t quite sing as much as the same bottle a bit over a year ago.

Really a fantastic barbera. So much great red fruit and a bit of spice. Quite seamless on the palate, but enough seriousness to set it apart. Great acidity and everything is nicely balanced. For the price wish I’d bought more. Great value and a fun wine. Better with 2h of air.
