Jul 30th, 2024Last year I had tasted this Fitou but in the 2008 vintage and I was really disappointed about the quality.
I try again with the 2012 vintage and I am really suprised about this vintage !
A nice ruby red with violet shades.
The nose is really fruity, with nice forest fruits ans blackcurrant. Well balanced with woody fragrances.
In the mouth, the wine is open, gently. The tannins are silky and fine.
I have drink it with a nice cheese, Munster, from Elsass. Nice !
