Not a variety I've come across solo before but, dear God, its absolutely perfect for this. Razor edged floral delights wafting into deep fruity satisfaction. Its not all limes and lemos, peachier more tropical fun here (its hot in the Douro, makes sense). Ahe has provided a little wood and bread to the profile, itll go on for a good decade more. Really odd that this isn't better known. It's just awesome.

Douro sparkling wine. 2007 bottled in 2014. Schramsberg was partner with these people when they started. Bready and yeasty. Baked apple. Very nice
