Another vintage of what is probably my favorite $10 wine. Really good for the price, beats out a lot of rosés twice its price. Single-site 100% Pineau d'Aunis from Coteaux du Vendômois. Herbal, mineral, and a bit wild. Slightly underripe wild raspberry, rhubarb, red grapefruit, funky, mossy wet stone minerality, and a bit of dried thyme and rosemary. High acid, light to medium (-) body, dry. Perfect wine for picnic food in the park on a hot day. Liked this a bit more than the '15s.
