A little heavier and sweeter than I like in a rosé. Not quite as bright. I was told it is peppery, which I am learning is not a quality I like in a wine.

Clean, crisp and slight floral taste. Spring and summer must for the wine fridge.

Another vintage of one of my favorite summer porch pounders! This rosé never disappoints. As expected, loads of juicy grapefruit and lemon pith, crushed rock minerality, underripe strawberry and raspberry, with this vintage showing a bit more definite of a green streak than the past couple vintages, with some fresh jalapeno, arugula, and a bit of gooseberry showing as well. Nimble and lean with lively acidity, it's a very nice and invigorating summer thirst quencher. This vintage seems juuust a bit hot with the alcohol level, but it's not so much as to be distracting. Other than that, I can't fault it; I mean, a single-vineyard Loire wine of this quality at $10? What's there to complain about? Solid stuff.
