A lovely Côtes du Rhône, blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. Typical French gravely quality of a CDR. Nice to drink on its own, but would probably pair well with pasta with bolognese sauce, lamb stew or grilled chicken or pork. A great value for just $10.

Cooked coq au vin with a cup of it and drank the rest with the meal, was a pleasant combination.
