I like drinking Picpoul and it is a variety that I try quiet often. I've found this from Ormarine the lesser good so far but still ok. The nose is slightly mineral, chalky with those hints of lemon for which Picpoul is famous. The palate does have a good body, slightly oily, with a balanced refreshing acidity but its lemony flavours seems to be overripe more towards a very yellow/brown lemon rather than green and fresh. Anyway, consistent as usual.

A nice sharp acidic bite to this one, lots of pleasant complexity in the aroma, perhaps a hint of minerality. Flavour equally as pleasing. A different pleasing grape variety.
