Strong nose of earth, bell pepper, cherries, plums, barnyard, wood, vanilla, smoke, spices and peppercorn.
Light to medium bodied, with medium acidity and soft legs.
Dry and earthy on the palate with plums, cherries, oak, animal notes, light vanilla, green pepper, graphite and black pepper.
Medium finish with extremely soft tannins, almonds and peppercorn.
A nice red table wine that is better with food. Simple, but drinkable, with somewhat of a bitter ending. I paired it with beef brisket and potatoes.
Aged in oak barrels for 6 months.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
