My second visit of this South African robust and ripe blend. It seems the wine has soften and became more approachable and smooth over time, as the tannins that were rough in the past have mellowed and are now well intigrated. The body is still full, rich and ripe, with loads of black prunes, coffee, licorice, light madira touch and black chocolate. The finish is long, rich and ripe. Overall robust and ripe, lacking a bit of elegance and acidity. My score 87+, drink to 2017

Big red fruit aromas. My first try and very drinkable on opening. Definitely a big robust wine but unusually it is very approachable and smooth. I think that decanting for a couple of hours will improve it even more. Worth a try
