Cantine Elvio Tintero
Rosso Piedmont Nebbiolo Blend
Fresh yet the fruit is cooked. This is eating apple-strawberry-cherry-blackberry compote, cooked with allspice and some kale...after it has been cooled and is served to you while frolicking in the snow. As it is it was served to me after a Verdejo at Silver Lake Wine but in theory if I’d had more snowy activities I’d have taken more than one with me. A good wine for hot or cold or in-between. A NV blend which always makes me suspicious except that of three yum (tech term) treats Silver Lake poured us I dug this one. So super yum (again tech term).

Apr 17th, 2018Elivo Tintero Rosso. A blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Cab Franc. Tastes like a Pinot Noir that's always at the gym, in a good way. Refreshingly low ABV (12.5%) and dirt cheap at only $9.99. But you already had me at #kermitlynch.

For 16$ (1/2 price bottle night at my local Italian restaurant), this is a steal. Cheers!https://www.kermitlynch.com/our-wines/cantine-elvio-tintero/

Sep 16th, 2016A fun, refreshing and consistently tasty blend that shines with a slight chill. Profile that feels halfway between nebbiolo and barbera, which does not actually sound like an awesome place. This works nicely though, very enjoyable.
