Had a fabulous dinner last night at Locanda Verde to celebrate my friend's engagement! We wanted a sturdy wine with notes of tobacco and leather. @Camilo Viafara (sommelier at LV) steered us to this wine. Great recommendation as the Carignan is one of my favorite grapes. Notes of cherry, too.
