Southern Rhône blend from Paso Robles, California. Blend comprised of 54% Grenache, 33% Mourvèdre, and 13% Syrah.
This wine is medium purple. It has medium(+) intensity of youthful, playful aromas and flavors of candied black fruit such as blackberry and black cherry, also black plum; it also has violet, peat, anise, tobacco, black licorice, dark chocolate, vanilla, clove, nutmeg, and meaty characteristics. It has medium acidity, a full body, high alcohol, medium tannins, and a medium(+) finish that lingers on the palate. Drinking really well now. With @deked1

Aug 2nd, 2020As a Grenache groupie- I can confirm this is an amazing blend. Beautiful cherry, vanilla, oak, white floral, black licorice, and green herb. So complex, a wine that truly gets better as you drink it. Silky on the mouth. Having it on the mountain was great- brining it home was better
