Tree, black berry, horse, too much acidity at first. After 30 minutes it turns into a perfectly aged and balanced wine. Powerful but smooth. Tannic but not too much. Complex structure and long finish. If I drank this blind, I would say it's Bordeaux.

This 1997 has aged beautifully and even some minor dryness of the cork could not dampen my enthusiasm for this beauty. Subtle and understated but as drinkable as anticipated. This is a beautiful wine.
