2012 Byron Pinot Noir. Very dark red color. Light spicy peppery aroma. Black cherry, mild oak tones, dry with velvety finish. Delicious with grilled salmon, fresh asparagus and salad with balsamic vinegar. Bought mail order from Cork Exclusive's top rated wines under $20. A definite buy-again.

Sep 19th, 2015Really nice purplish-red color. A good bit of strawberry and floral notes on the nose. I'm tasting a lot of spice and earth on the palate. Also getting some figs and vanilla there, too. Definitely not a fruit bomb but shows some nice character. Not as funky as I would usually like but man this is still silky smooth.

To me, this 2012 one is second to none. Such a great wine with deep and memorable flavor. After a day decanting, you will experience a deeper taste :)
