Mickey's Block Zinfandel

Nice finesse in that it reminds me of a weighty Pinot more than a Zin. Loads of blueberry on the nose with hints of oak and pepper. A touch hot but blowing off the longer it sits in the glass.

Rich zin. Heavy tannins. Held up well with a steak.

2017

Good wine, but a bit too sweet for me. Would not buy again for the price.

Fresh dark berry and cherry, chocolate, cinnamon/clove. Not jammy or stewed. Certainly soft and silky. Really fine showing for a young wine.

Lovely sublime wine fruit forward but soft peppery finish #yummy

Probably my favorite all-around wine to drink. Well balanced. Smells swampy, has a little spice at the end and nice round tang to it.

In memory of my dear sister-in-law, Diane Brown, it seemed appropriate to toast to her with Brown Zin. Cheers, lady.

Smooth and delicious

Still my favorite Zin. Day of ups and downs. Wanted to go to Bottlerock, it was sold out. Then saw Brown was a sponsor. Called our wine club rep and they have tickets!!! Holding them for us! Looked for flights and hotels and it seems nearly impossible to justify the trip. I just need to keep drinking Brown until I come up with a fiscally responsible plan!
