Wow. This is an American gin that can stand with my English favorite, No. 3. This is a real gin, not the slightly-flavored vodkas masquerading as gin that you find in most market labels. The bold presence of spices - juniper, cardamom, black pepper - blends really well with the fruit elements, mostly grapefruit. An all-star.
