Now this is exactly what I look for in a California Zinfandel. So many of them are sweet and overly confected, it drives me insane. This 2012 Brazin has a slight purple hue with aromas of raspberries. Full bodied and dry with raspberry jam, blackberry and a peppery finish. The only thing holding it back is the length. Highly recommended. $20.
