2012 vintage. Deep, dark fruit flavors and good typicity. Completely avoids the over ripe, stewed spectrum of fruit flavors that can sometimes plague the variety. Blackberry, mullberry, boysenberry, black cherry, dried herbs, little toastiness, graphite, baking spices. A more elegant expression of Petite Sirah.
