Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Damn. Quite Bretty. Borderline too much. But, if you are tolerant. Do it. It's great.

1998-- really delicious. Classic flavors. Dried herbs, smoky bacon fat. Plenty of fresh red fruits still offset by soft black pepper. Lots of life left but was my last bottle.

Yeah, so, but, really, I mean, whatever. If you own these wines but think cdp is too ripe for you, buzz me a message.

Still on primary fruit. Red red red. But still damn tasty.

Showed very well with good balance and life.

I was expecting this wine to be over the hill. Still in good shape. Love the old style cdp that has that flinty, peppery body. So good
