2012 Vintage. Will cellar these longer as there was a bit of tannin attacking teeth that should dissipate with age. Even so, wow wine.

Feb 7th, 2016A little bit rustic with the heavy tempranillo which adds a nice level of complexity. The petit verdot really shows at this stage too. Fruit forward Paso style, but yet the alcohol is in check at below 14%. Very interesting wine.

May 6th, 20142012 Vintage. 13.8% Alcohol. Not a PNP as it started out with a strange menthol and herbaceous bouquet. Let sit and absorb oxygen for a half hour and that all dissipated. Not a big fruit bomb, but still enjoyable and certainly an unusual blend.

May 18th, 20202012 Vintage. Tarter and more acidic than our prior bottle. Bought at auction so possibly poor storage.

Dec 9th, 20192012 Vintage. 13.8% Alcohol. 35% Tempranillo, 25% Petit Verdot, 33% Syrah, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon. Better tannin integration almost a year from last bottle with pop and pour, but better second day so decant or age another year.

Aug 7th, 20192012 Vintage. 13.8% Alcohol. Rustic and perhaps more time in cellar will allow this to soften the tannins.
