The name "Bonterra" means good earth. All of their wines are from organically grown grapes. Aromas of black fruits and pepper notes. On the palate black cherry and blueberry flavors with some oak and spice tones. Tannins are still a bit strong on vivid acidity. Medium length ending with slight toasty spice character. Ok value.

Nice, typical representation. Red raspberry jam with a pomegranate reduction. Ripe red plum. Some dry herbs and stewed rhubarb. Slow roasted, savory tannins. Nice Acidity. Great food zin. Kudos Bonterra.
