A little peppery and spicy but smooth and not that bold for a zinfandel. Slightly jammy.

Juicy, a little bit of spice. The Thai food pairing took it to the next level.

Perfect! Nice bold Zinfandel. Dark ruby color, nice on the nose with dark berries.

Deep purple in color it is a beautiful wine to look at. The nose is jammy dark fruit (primarily blackberry), vanilla, and wood. The palate is blackberry and pepper with smooth tannins. It feels rather thin though given it’s 14.5% ABV. The finish is a warm black pepper with some short lived heat along the edges of the tongue.

Solidly drinkable, so fruity it’s almost just alcohol and juice, does have a non-complex earth note
