A touch more oaky than most Ribera Del Duoros, otherwise a classic style for the region. Strong alcohol though not unpleasantly so. Long lasting on the palate. This is a wild one.

Inky and dark purple color. Nose of nice oaky note, tobacco, cherry, plum, spice and anise. Nose is plenty and enjoyable. Taste of oak, Cesar, bright acidity, strong tannins, cherry, but a bit watery to me. Aftertaste is again hit by oak and a bit bittersweet, graphite, meaty, and hotness from alcohol. Hold this one for years to come to see if subtlety can arise.
