Not bad for $7. Best I could find in a Curacau supermarket. ripe cherry. A bit of clove. Ripe overall! High acids...decant for a bit to soften that up a bit. Not complaints for a last minute beach drinker.

I like wines with a little more complexity, but overall this is easy to drink, and it pairs really well with pizza and lasagna type items, fruity and dry.

Nice oaky finish, pairs well with pepper jack cheeses.

Bought it as a 3-pack together with a reserva and grand reserva for $24 at Costco. Really did not have any expectation for this crianza. But it surprised me with quite complicated nose of cherry, vanilla, wet stone, and hint of toasted nuts. On the palate it feels bright and light. Mediums finish with a tiny bit of bitter after taste. Totally drinkable.
