Celebrating my sons 14th with his birth year wine. The 10 is for him not the wine even if the wine was yummy. Worthy of a 9 for sure

This is a really good garnacha/temp/cariñena/cab blend. It's a Gran Reserva, which theoretically means it's a "superior" wine. If I were blind tasting, I wouldn't peg this as a GR or as a 2002. The color is still very dark. The spiciness that is typical of Spanish garnacha and temps is a little light at first but heavy in the aftertaste. I would call the flavors black cherry and blackberries. Super smooth. I picked this up for $7 at Publix Sabor, and I'm probably going to grab a few more soon!
