A late ripening grape, it can have difficulties ripening in Bordeaux, but it flourishes in warmer regions, such as parts Australia, California and Ronda in southern Spain, where it was first introduced by José Luis Vetas in 1991. Dense ruby-purple color. Notes of red fruit, herbs and tobacco. Big and powerful
