Transparent red umber. Nose is muted. Fruit is salty and savory, but not in a pleasant way. There’s sweetness on the palate but it’s marred by a crackery quality that seems to be an off-malolactic expression.

Really an excellent wine. Have had this before but not with this age and maybe not this vintage. Beautifully aromatic, quite precise, excellent lighter fruit but with good tension and earth, great acid. Great wine with a variety of seafood and meat - especially with a meaningful chill.
