A deeply colored Malbec-based blend from northern Argentina with licorice aromas complicated by notes of coffee and bitter chocolate. Suave and easygoing, with definition and mineral lift, and a touch of medicinal reserve to its creamy dark raspberry fruit. Sweet, ripe tannins dust the palate. (Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, July 2018)
